Twins Days Fest 2025

This year my twin sister and I attended the 50th Anniversary of the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio for the very first time and it let me tell you…it was nothing short of amazing.

The Twins Days Festival is the largest gathering of twins and multiples in the world, and takes place the first weekend in August every year.
We had seen photos and heard stories, but absolutely nothing could prepare us for the wonderful experience of being surrounded by more than 2,000 twins and multiples in one place. It was surreal, beautiful and honestly a little overwhelming in the best possible way.
It felt like stepping into a living, breathing celebration of connection, family and the unique bond we get to share every day.

One of the best parts of the weekend was the instant sense of community. Everywhere we went, people were smiling, chatting and connecting like long-lost friends.
By the end of day one, we already had a new group of “twin besties” who kept us laughing all night long. Those late-night conversations, shared stories and endless jokes are memories we’ll carry with us forever.
Of course, we couldn’t miss out on one of the festival’s most iconic events: the twins-only costume parade. We dressed up, joined the line of colorful, creative twin pairs, and paraded through the festival grounds like we’d been part of this tradition our whole lives.

The energy was so contagious, everybody cheering, photographers taking photos and twins proudly showing off their themed looks.
It’s a blessing to be a part of such as rare and unique group of individuals.
We even attempted to be responsible and signed up for the annual Twins Days 5K run. But let’s just say the late-night bonding with our new friends’ won.
When the race-time rolled around, we were still asleep. No regrets, those memories were worth every missed mile.

As the weekend came to an end, my sister and I found ourselves already talking about next year. Twins Days wasn’t just a festival, it was a celebration of identity, connection and fun that we didn’t even realize we’d been missing.
We left with full hearts, a new twin tribe and a tradition we know we’ll keep for years to come.
